According to the New Straits Times, the Health Ministry ordered the 14-day closure after conducting a surprise inspection of the restaurant on Sunday, 6 October.
The inspection comes after a video of the incident went viral, triggering public complaints.
The two-second clip was uploaded in a Facebook community page on Saturday, 5 October, leading the Lipis District Council to also conduct an investigation.
Lipis District Council chairman Datuk Mohd Hafizi Ibrahim told Sinar Harian that the council will take action if the investigation confirms the act was carried out.
