Last night, 5 May, national diver Pandelela Rinong created a miracle by winning Malaysia's first-ever gold medal in the Diving World Cup
According to FINA, the official website of the competition, "the victory rewarded not so much the excellence but rather the consistency. And the strongest in this field was Malaysia's Pandelela Rinong."

The two-time Olympic medallist won Malaysia's first and the only gold at the Diving World Cup after a consistent performance in the women's 10-metre platform individual final in Tokyo.
The Sarawak-born diver is the first Malaysian to make it to the top of the World Cup podium.
In 2018, she won bronze in the same event at the last edition that was held in Wuhan, China.
She even took to her Twitter to admit that it was a miracle
