Grab just introduced a new feature called JustSave that can help you save on fares if you don't mind sharing your ride

Essentially, its a carpooling feature that lets you save money by sharing rides with other passengers who are travelling in the same direction.

According to Grab, passengers who opt for JustSave are able to save up to 20% when they share a ride compared to its standard e-hailing service.

All you need to do is book a JustSave ride to your desired destination. Once confirmed, Grab will then lock another passenger going to the same drop off point, or in the same direction as you.

On the other hand, Grab drivers can also benefit from this feature by improving their earnings per minute because they can pick up multiple passengers at once.

However, do keep in mind that the feature is only available in several areas in Klang Valley from 2pm to 9.59pm only

For now, JustSave is only available in KLCC, Mid Valley Bangsar, One Utama/First Avenue, and Sentral Brickfields.

This isn't the first time Grab is doing ride-sharing. According to Vulcan Post, the e-hailing company previously introduced a similar carpooling service called GrabShare in 2017 that was removed in 2019 for 'improvement purposes'.
