A promising start in Malaysia's EV market.
Proton's first all-electric vehicle, the e.MAS 7, has already garnered over 2,500 bookings since its launch on 16 December
This strong early interest suggests the e.MAS 7 could become a leading EV in Malaysia in 2025, giving established rivals a run for their money.
PRO-NET chief executive officer Zhang Qiang expressed his enthusiasm about the positive reception, highlighting the car's innovative features and value proposition for those looking to switch to electric driving. PRO-NET is a subsidiary of Proton.

The e.MAS 7 offers a compelling package, including a launch rebate of RM4,000 for the first 3,000 customers
This brings the vehicle's price down to RM105,800 for the Prime variant and RM119,800 for the Premium.
Beyond the price incentive, buyers also benefit from an exclusive package worth up to RM8,000, including a free home charger, V2L adapter, and five years of unlimited Internet data.
Adding to the appeal is the robust warranty, which covers the vehicle for six years with unlimited mileage, and the high-voltage battery, motor, and controllers for eight years or 160,000km.
