Proton X90 Is Now Available For Sale From RM123,800. Here's A First Look

It will have six-seater and seven-seater units.

The Proton X90 is now officially for sale in Malaysia, after being first revealed by Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim earlier this week.

It also marks Proton's third X series SUV unit after the X50 and X70.

The new vehicle from Proton will come in four variants, Standard, Executive, Premium, and Flagship. The first three variants are seven-seaters, while the Flagship variant is a six-seater. 

According to paultan, the X90 is 316mm longer and 69mm wider than its predecessor, the X70. It also sports a new front grille and full LED headlights.

The SUV will be a mild-hybrid system paired together with a seven-speed dual clutch transmission that can deliver a combined output of 190PS combined with 300Nm of torque, as reported by lowyat.net.

It's also equipped with a few handy features never-seen-before features in a Proton vehicle

These features include Traffic Sign Information which helps drivers detect upcoming road signs on the road, Rear Collision Warning which warns drivers of potential rear-end collisions, and Rear Cross Traffic alert which notifies drivers of approaching vehicles as they reverse their car.

The Proton X90 will be available in six colours, Snow White, Armour Silver, Jet Grey, Cinnamon Brown, Ruby Red, and Marine Blue.

- Proton X90 1.5L Standard (seven-seater): RM123,800
- Proton X90 1.5L Executive (seven-seater): RM130,800
- Proton X90 1.5L Premium (seven-seater): RM144,800
- Proton X90 1.5L Flagship (six-seater): RMM152,800
