10 October 2023, Galaxy SmartTag2 was introduced to ensure Samsung Galaxy users could find their misplaced belongings in an easy and intuitive way.

The new Galaxy SmartTag2 mainly comes with Bluetooth 5.3

With selected smartphones, it also can support ultra-wideband (UWB), giving it a range of up to 120 metres. That means you are still able to find your car key with your Samsung Galaxy phone, even if you misplace it anywhere at home.

What's great is that the battery life of the Galaxy SmartTag2 has been increased to 700 days when Power Saving Mode is activated

The battery life makes the Galaxy SmartTag2 unique. It has now increased to 500 days using a replaceable CR2032 battery. By activating the Power Saving Mode, you can extend battery life up to a whopping 700 days. For instance, if you lose your luggage while traveling, the Galaxy SmartTag2 can help you find it for almost 2 years.

Moreover, it comes with SmartThings IoT button devices that are IP57 dust and water resistant with an IP57 rating, which means they are much more suitable for outdoor activities like hiking or camping without getting damaged.
