Japan's viral donut brand I'm donut ? is officially opening its first store in Kuala Lumpur at The Exchange TRX on 12 September
The opening marks the brand's expansion into Southeast Asia, giving Malaysians the chance to try its signature nama donuts, which have developed a cult following in Japan and beyond.
The brand is so popular that its Tokyo outlets in Nakameguro, Omotesando, Shibuya, and Harajuku often attract long queues of locals and tourists.
In the last few years, I'm donut ? has also expanded overseas, with outlets in New York, Taipei, and Seoul, and another in Jakarta reportedly on the way.

Unlike traditional donuts, I'm donut ? is known for its incredibly soft and airy interior
Its unique donuts are made using a brioche-style dough blended with kabocha pumpkin, giving them their signature light, delicate texture.
In fact, the brand jokes that even its donuts might wonder: "Am I a donut?" — inspiring its name.

Malaysian fans can look forward to some of the brand's most popular creations, including its Original Nama Donut and Nama French Cruller
There will also be a range of cream-filled donuts featuring its signature flavours such as pistachio, matcha, chocolate, and more.
