Being a radio announcer sounds exciting, kan? From having witty banter with your co-host and daily listeners, to playing music for all of Malaysia to hear, it's a pretty fun career path in the broadcasting industry, especially if you're passionate about music and you love hearing yourself talk. :P
Well, you're in luck, 'cause Fly FM recently announced that they're currently on a nationwide search for their next radio announcer to join their current lineup, woohoo!
Yup, you read that right! The iconic Flydol competition is back, where the chosen participants will compete with each other. The winner will earn a full-time contract with Fly FM, including a pay package of RM60,000, wahh. :O
Aside from that, you'll join the ranks of your all-time fave radio hosts, such as Ryan, Fifi, Natalie, Juanita, and Douglas Lim!
So, wanna become a radio announcer anot?
Here's how you can join Flydol 2022:
STEP 1: Record a 60-second audition video clip of you telling Fly FM about yourself, and why you would love to be on air while using your best radio announcer voice
STEP 2: Post your video on your TikTok or Instagram account
STEP 3: Don't forget to tag them on Instagram at @flyfm958 or TikTok at @flyfm, and include the hashtag #flydol2022
Remember, auditions close on 14 January, so be sure to submit your application before it's too late! The chosen finalists will battle it out during the finals on 28 January.
