‘Jumanji’ Has Already Made RM11.5 Mil In Malaysia... And It’s Not Even Officially Out Yet
Looks like The Rock's intense smoulder > the Force.
'Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle' may be facing some pretty fierce competition in the box office, but it looks like The Rock's intense smoulder might be stronger than the Force when it comes to Malaysian moviegoers
Though the movie is not officially in cinemas yet, the standalone sequel to 1995's 'Jumanji' has already made RM11.5 million in Malaysia from sneak previews, beating 'Star Wars: The Last Jedi' to grab the #1 spot over the weekend
Sneak previews for 'Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle' were made available in selected cinemas last Thursday, 14 December from 9pm onwards. That means it made RM11.5 million in just four and a half days!
This also marks the biggest paid sneak review presults of all time in the local box office.
Starring Dwayne Johnson, Kevin Hart, Karen Gillan, Jack Black, Nick Jonas, and Bobby Cannavale, 'Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle' officially premieres in Malaysia this Thursday, 21 December 2017
