Wayne Rooney Joins Ed Sheeran For A Duet... And It's Not Exactly Pitch Perfect
In this week's RANDOM WEDNESDAY column, we take you to the Rooney-land where the unlikely duo perform Lego House from Sheeran's debut album at a Manchester pug.
So Wayne Rooney, who is a well-known footballer, and Ed Sheeran, who is a popular singer, have been spotted singing duet. (That's two people singing together)
England and Manchester United captain Wayne Rooney joined singer Ed Sheeran for an impromptu duet at a Manchester pub after watching him in concert in the city.
bbc.comSo how did it go? Well, while Sheeran, the singer, comes out of it quite well, Rooney, the footballer, not so much.
In the clip, the footballer can be seen (and heard, unfortunately) belting out 'Lego House' in front of a load of his mates at the Sir Ralph Abercrombie pub in Manchester, accompanied by Ed on guitar.
huffingtonpost.co.ukWhile I don't really know about football (you see, that's Darian, my teammate and the SAYS Bolaboy's department), I guess this Rooney fellow wouldn't have been such a big deal if he wasn't pro at kicking a ball. Alas, the same cannot be said for his singing.
Brilliant time at @edsheeran concert last night. Thanks for a great night mate pic.twitter.com/Fxv22Y5VMz
