GSC Roasts Single Malaysians In Funny TikTok & It Has Us Howling With Laughter

It can often be a challenge for service outlets to come up with witty promotional adverts to keep customers interested. But Golden Screen Cinemas (GSC) seems to have found a way to grab people's attention.
Malaysia's largest cinema exhibitor, GSC, recently made a bold TikTok in an effort to promote their twin seats, a paired seating option suitable for couples.
In the 10-second clip, a woman can be seen getting up from a twin seat at a GSC theatre before walking to the camera and saying, "Cinema seats already have couple options, so why are you still single?" before walking off.
The video then pans to a view displaying the twin seats before concluding.
To say the least, many Malaysians had polarising reactions to the clip, ranging from comedic to offended and everything in between
Some users even said that they go out of their way to purchase twin seats when they're alone so they have more space to themselves while watching a movie
"When I buy the couple seats, I fully lie down," wrote one user, while another stated that he sits in the middle to make himself more comfortable.
Other users added that they don't buy couple seats to keep their movie-watching halal.
Nevertheless, the vast majority of commenters took the funny video in stride, calling GSC an absolute savage for the TikTok.
"Take it back GSC! This is one big insult!" joked one user.
