1-Year-Old Toddler Helps His Great-Grandmother Down Stairs & Our Hearts Have Melted

It goes without saying that parents are often told to teach their children well so they may go out into the world and spread goodness to anyone they come across.
One toddler in particular seems to be the embodiment for that idea.
A recent TikTok has been making waves online after one mother, named Angela, recorded a video of her one-year-old son being a true little gentleman.
Captured in the Philippines, the 13-second TikTok shows Angela's son helping his great-grandmother, who is Angela's grandmother, down a short flight of stairs.
As the elderly woman attempts to walk down the stairs, the little boy approaches her and extends his hand to her. She takes his hand and descend the steps, holding onto his hand while she steadies herself on a table next to the staircase.
He waits patiently until she reaches the bottom the stairs, only letting go of her hand after she safely reaches the ground and stands upright.
Warming hearts across the globe, the TikTok has garnered about 10 million views and over a million likes at the time of writing, with many commenters praising the little man for being a true gentleman
One user even light-heartedly said how both the kid and great-grandmother have similar hairstyles.
However, a fair share of commenters also expressed how the video made them miss their late grandmothers, referred to as "lola" in Tagalog.
We tip our hats to this little man, who serves as a shining example of how all of us should treat the elderly. ♡
