Lee Chong Wei's Cute Instagram Post For His Wife Got Everyone Wishing They Were In Love

Datuk Wira Lee Chong Wei recently took it to Instagram to wish his lovely wife a happy anniversary
On Sunday, 10 November, Malaysia's favourite badminton player posted a series of wedding photos of him and his wife.
The post has since garnered over 100,000 likes.
Along with the photo, the national hero shared that he used to pluck shuttlecock feathers to find out whether his wife liked him back or not
Looking back at when he first fell in love with his wife, he explained that he was too shy to ask for her phone number and then he got some advice from a friend. He wrote, "As dumb as I may be, one of my teammates is dumber."
Sixteen years ago, a teammate told him to pluck rose petals to see if she liked him back. Sadly, as a young and upcoming badminton player, Datuk Lee Chong Wei couldn't afford to buy roses. His teammate then suggested to him to pluck shuttlecock feathers instead.
"Only then I learned that shuttlecocks have 16 feathers," he said.
He wrote, "People said I'm lucky to have won many titles. But to me, I feel luckiest to have won your heart."
Now netizens couldn't get over how sweet he is.
One person said, "I'm not asking for much, I just hope my future husband would appreciate me just like how Datuk Lee Chong Wei appreciates his wife."

Meanwhile, a Twitter user pointed out how Datuk Lee Chong Wei is aggressive on the court but is actually a sweetheart when he's not in a game.
