We have seen many countries use creative ways to ensure people practise social distancing

In Paris, a cafe used giant teddy bears to ensure customers are at least 1m away from one another, while in Amsterdam, a restaurant set up tiny 'greenhouses' with tables in them by the waterfront so that diners are safe from passers-by.

Meanwhile, in Malaysia, Sunway University put up live-sized cut-outs of celebrities and famous figures on campus to ensure students practise social distancing

In a Facebook post today, 1 July, Sunway University flaunted its creative social distancing measure by posting eight photos of its campus.

A photo of a lecture hall shows over 20 cut-outs seated between every one or two seats.

Celebrities and famous figures such as Taylor Swift, Yuna, Lee Chong Wei, Nicol David, Jack Ma, and Albert Einstein, among others, are all sitting in the hall waiting for students to join them for a lesson.

Outside the lecture hall, we see BTS' Jongkook, Mr Bean, JK Rowling, and many more placed on benches

At the time of writing, the post has gone viral with over 1,800 shares even though it was posted a few hours ago.

Thousands of netizens flocked to the comment section to commend Sunway University's creative measure, while others said they are excited to go back to campus

"Sunway has the most creative support team," lauded a Facebook user.

Some netizens said in jest that Sunway University should have included Tan Sri Dr Jeffrey Cheah as well - the founder of the Sunway Group.
