PM Najib's Cat Kiky Is So Popular, It Has Its Own Instagram Account
For the love of cats!
Over the weekend, Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak shared a photo of one of his cats, Kiky on Instagram.
In just a day, the post garnered more than 18,000 likes, with a lot of people commenting on how cute the cat is.
According to a report by Malay Mail Online, Najib bought Kiky seven years ago, in 2010.
Apart from updating his daily activities as a prime minister on his social media accounts, Najib also occasionally puts up photos of his adorable pets and the posts usually get a lot of likes and comments
He even took the time to remind everyone that 8 August is International Cat Day by posting a photo of this little cutie recently
Najib has three other cats, Persians, Leo, and Kiky's baby, Tiger
The photo above was posted on 29 October last year, just a few days before Najib went on a six-day official visit to China on 31 October 2016.
"This cat's name is Simba. When we're taking photos, it poses so well. It only looks fierce, but in truth it's actually cute and loving."
His pet Kiky seems to be his favourite, as it appears more often on his social media accounts compared to his other cats
Kiky even has its own Instagram account with more than 2,500 followers
"Got home just in time to play with Kiky!"
The cat even appeared in a video with Najib
Knowing his love for cats, Deputy Minister of Tourism and Culture of Malaysia, Datuk Mas Ermieyati Samsudin gifted Najib with a cat named, 'Korya' in August!
