Still bitter and angry over an ex? Well, here's how you can channel that bad energy into positive action!

The Society For The Prevention of Cruelty To Animals (SPCA) Selangor has announced a fundraising campaign called 'Neuter Your Ex'.

In a Facebook post today, 28 June, SPCA Selangor announced that, for just RM100, you can sponsor the neutering of a stray animal with the temporary name of a horrible past lover!

"What better way to channel your feelings than by helping animals in need? It's a unique way to get some closure and have a good laugh while supporting a great cause," they said.

The non-profit organisation said every donation will directly support their 'Potong Royong' project, which aims to humanely manage the stray population in Selangor through mass neutering.

To participate in their humorous campaign, head to SPCA Selangor's 'Neuter Your Ex' fundraising page and make your donation

After that, you'll receive a form to submit a name for the animal to bear, either your ex's name or any other funny name you prefer, and the organisation will update on social media whenever the animal you've sponsored has been neutered!

SPCA Selangor encourages sponsors to share any fun or outrageous stories they may have about their ex too, as they will give the funniest or most heartwarming stories a special feature.

"Donate now and make your ex a part of our animal welfare story! Thank you for your support and sense of humour!" they said.

They added that you can also email them for a receipt for tax deduction purposes.

As of writing, they have already raised RM1,500 out of their RM100,000 target.

Submit your ex's name on SPCA Selangor's 'Neuter Your Ex' fundraising page.

And, follow SPCA Selangor on Facebook and Instagram to not miss out on the neutered animals being featured and named!
