[VIDEO] GrabFood Rider Helps A Blind Pedestrian Safely Cross A Busy Road In Gombak

A TikTok video has gone viral.

In it, a GrabFood rider's compassion was captured when the on-duty delivery person stopped to help a blind pedestrian cross the street.

The 40-second video, recorded by a car driver at Masjid Lama Batu 6 in Gombak, shows a blind man with a walking stick standing under a traffic signal by the road when the GrabFood rider enters the frame.

The delivery rider slows down and parks their kapcai near the blind pedestrian to assist him.

The person takes the blind man's hand and starts walking with him as the traffic light turns red. The person continues to walk together while holding his hand until he is safely on the other side of the road.

After helping the blind pedestrian, the delivery person then sprints back towards their parked kapcai to continue with their job

The video, uploaded on the popular video-sharing platform a day ago, has amassed close to 2,000 comments, over 32,000 reactions, and has been viewed more than 270,000 times at the time of writing.

In the comment section, TikTok users have applauded the rider for their compassion.
