Ample Couture is the brainchild of Roy Choy and his wife Yan, who transformed their shared love for fashion into a platform that empowers individuals to express themselves through style

Yan, now the Fashion Director, was inspired to start the business when she struggled to find high-quality, stylish clothes that matched her unique preferences in Malaysia.

What began as a side project sourcing unique pieces for her friends quickly turned into a thriving fashion business. Today, Yan oversees the brand's designs, procurement, and visual direction, ensuring each piece reflects Ample Couture's dedication to quality and individuality. Roy, the CEO, has played a critical role in scaling the brand, building its operations and strategy to position it as a market leader.

Since its inception in 2012, Ample Couture has grown into a team of nearly 50 employees. The brand initially gained popularity through online live-streaming sales, where it showcased a wide range of fashion, accessories, shoes, and bags. Over time, its offerings expanded to include beauty, skincare, and wellness products, creating a complete lifestyle experience for its customers.

This year, Ample Couture opened its first-ever physical store at Trion KL, a vibrant commercial hub with high foot traffic and modern infrastructure

Beyond retail, Ample Couture is committed to empowering local designers and fashion enthusiasts through its Ample Couture Spirit (ACS) programme

This collaborative platform allows aspiring designers to bring their creative visions to life without the financial burden of production costs.

Participants can:

- Showcase their talent: Share their designs with Ample Couture's broad audience.

- Collaborate: Work alongside other creatives to refine and elevate ideas.

Through ACS, Ample Couture aims to create opportunities for budding designers to shine while fostering a community of creativity and innovation.
