For those seeking a different experience from the usual bundle store adventure, you might want to head to Malaysia's largest car boot sale in Kota Damansara, Petaling Jaya.

This popular car boot sale is open every Sunday from 7am to 12pm, and is cherished for offering a wide range of goods and fashion pieces

However, according to the organiser, customers arrive as early as 6am to try and get their hands on the best items they can find, so you might want to start your shopping spree in the morning.

Vendors also sell pre-loved clothing at the lowest possible price, with some offering four pieces of clothing for as little as RM5, while others charge RM10 for a full plastic bag of items.

Secondhand clothing from popular brands, such as UNIQLO, H&M, and Zara can also be found here, allowing you to save and still enjoy the same high quality.

Aside from pieces of clothing, you can also find accessories, toys, kitchen utensils, fishing equipment, and a variety of collector items.

Aspiring photographers and Instagrammers looking to up their social media game can also drool over the selection of vintage film cameras offered here, all of which are in excellent condition.

To better understand the buzz surrounding this trendy market concept, content creator Jason Chen spoke with several vendors who sell goods at the car boot sale

In a three-minute TikTok video, Jason asked the sellers how early they booked a spot to set up their car trunk.

The majority of vendors said they camped at the car boot sale the night before the market opened and paid RM20 to RM30 to reserve their spot.

"Today's sale is a bit slow, but I earned around RM600 the first time I sold items here," said one seller.

"This is my first time selling here. Previously, I sold my items at another car boot sale spot in Shah Alam, but it's better here because there are more customers," said another.
