Whether it's building a home or starting a fundraising campaign, you can contribute to EPIC

You can also build a home yourself by hosting a private build. In order to do so, a participant fee would be required on top of the basic fee of a home. This fee is dependant on the area of location of the build. If you’d like to get in touch and build a home yourself, let us know and e-mail [email protected].

You can raise funds for families and donate the proceeds to the EPIC Homes cause. Run a marathon, pledge your birthday, start a lemonade stand - have fun while doing good and make a difference in the life of another.

You can even fund an entire home or become a partner. If you'd like to share resources or have other ideas on how to collaborate, EPIC encourages you to drop a note at [email protected].

EPIC builder Giles Gibbins shares his experience on the GE & AirAsia Build, "Each build has its own challenges to overcome."

"The group that came along that weekend was a wide mix of cultures from two separate companies, yet there were no boundaries. Corporate, non-corporate, GE, Air Asia, mature, young, different races, different religions: everyone shared this experience together."

"Over the next two days I witnessed more of this passion as,everyone had to work extra hard to get the home finished in time. But at the end of the third day, as the sun was setting, the house was finished."

"While it is usual for us to dig different sized footing holes because of a gently sloped site, this was no gentle slope. The drop over the site was almost 2 meters; meaning that at one end the structure team had to dig holes over a meter deep, and at the other they had to make mounds of dirt on which to place the foundations."

"I was in the wall team...when we had finished our initial cutting and were ready to commence work on the house, there was no structure on which to commence work!"

"Each build has it’s own challenges to overcome as well. I was in the wall team, and on the first day we were meant to spend the morning cutting out material and the afternoon constructing. When we had finished our initial cutting and were ready to commence work on the house, there was no structure on which to commence work!"

"My team was under the impression that they had worked very hard on that first day. I’m sure once they talked to the structure team they would’ve realised what an easy day they had!"
