Touted as the "world's best obstacle course race", Spartan Race is back for another year
One of the most well-known events in obstacle racing, Spartan Race debuted in Malaysia back in 2015.
Challenging and physically demanding, the event caters to individuals looking to test their physical limits and change their frame of reference for what they can accomplish. In their own words, there will be "fire, mud, water, barbed wire, and occasionally Hell on Earth."

This year's instalment will take place from 28 - 29 July in Putrajaya, with five gruelling races across the weekend
The races this year are:
- Spartan Race Sprint (6km+ / 20+ obstacles)
- Spartan Race Super (13km+ / 25+ obstacles)
- Spartan Race Beast (21km+ / 30+ obstacles)
- Spartan Kids Race
- Hurricane Heat

Calling it the first trifecta Spartan Race to be held in Asia, each finisher medal will come attached with a separate wedge that can be combined to form a badass trifecta piece
Those capable of conquering three races singlehandedly will earn the right to wear the Weekend Trifecta Finisher medal
The special silverware will only be given to participants for completing three races: Spartan Race Sprint, Spartan Race Super, and Spartan Race Beast.
