There's so much to love about Malaysia and one of those things is getting to be surrounded by nature without travelling too far

Located about an hour's drive from Kuala Lumpur is a hill resort that's the perfect holiday spot for a small group of friends or family.

Sugeh Hill Eco Resort is nestled in Janda Baik, Pahang, offering around 18 different types of wooden chalets that can fit a maximum of two or four guests

Prices for weekdays start from RM100 per night and on weekends or public holidays, they start from RM199 per night, depending on the type of chalet you choose.

There are various fun activities to do within the resort, including a stream nearby where you can take a dip

Some of the chalets have a private pool too.

For an adrenaline rush, take the flying fox which cuts through the resort and lets you 'fly' across a small pond

The flying fox ride costs RM30 for two rounds, and there's pony and bicycle riding for RM15 each.

Other activities include karaoke, riding ATVs or electric scooters, sampan-rowing on the pond, and visiting a mini 'zoo'!
