IPC Shopping Centre is stepping up its festive decor, and it's unlike anything you've ever seen before

This year, they will be transforming their existing Christmas decor in December to Chinese New Year decor in January. :O

How will it work? Picture this: flowers that gradually bloom in colour, Christmas ornaments that will turn into mandarin oranges, and festive gift boxes changing into traditional Chinese lanterns and red ang pow packets. Now that's something we'd like to see! :D

This twice-recycling concept for IPC's Christmas decor is to showcase the power of sustainability by combining and reusing decorations for both festive seasons <3

Instead of tearing down Christmas decor and putting up completely new ones for CNY, all the festive decor will be used for both occasions to keep it sustainable and reduce waste.

Even the structures and decorations used are made from recycled paper and compressed wood boards to inspire everyone that festive celebrations can be both sustainable AND fun. :D

With the theme 'Ӓndra's Enchanting Garden', IPC's mascot is a cute rabbit named Ӓndra (whose name means 'change' in Swedish). Together with her friends Dala, the iconic Swedish horse, and Tomte, a mythological creature from Nordic folklore, Ӓndra uses her enchanted garden to amaze shoppers with magical wonderment that is sustainable, green, and festive.

Before it transforms for CNY, you've gotta head over to IPC Shopping Centre to feast your eyes on the wondrous winter decor, while also partaking in exciting activities for kids and adults alike

For the kiddies, there will be free DIY sustainable arts and crafts workshops, exclusively for Små Club members, so they can make their own eco-friendly Christmas ornaments.

Plus, they will be absolutely thrilled to come face to face with mascots such as Tomte, Swedish Maidens, and Små Club Buddies who will be making their rounds in IPC for a meet and greet. Don't forget to catch festive performances such as carolling to spread cheer and joy!

And of course, check out the Christmas Bazaar at the concourse where you'll be spoilt for choice with plenty of gifts and great deals.

FYI, there's no better time than now to become an IPC Tack Club member, as you can convert your spending into Tack Points and exchange them for rewards on the IPC app

All your year-end shopping will be even more rewarding for the whole month of December, as you can redeem double Tack Points and e-vouchers for every purchase, woohoo!

Converting your spending to Tack Points is super easy. All you have to do is head over to i-Counter on Level G at IPC with your receipts to receive points instantly.

Download the IPC app on Google Play or the App Store and sign up as a Tack Club member for free to get started.

Oh, and did we mention that Tack Club members also stand to benefit from plenty of deals and giveaways in conjunction with IPC's 19th anniversary?

1. For instance, you can get eco-friendly biodegradable Swedish cloths with a minimum spend of RM500!

Known as happi.kloth, it is made from biodegradable materials that are perfect for those looking to be more eco-friendly. :) Just spend RM500 in three receipts at any store within IPC Shopping Centre to claim your happi.kloth! For non-members, you need to spend a minimum of RM600.

You can also spend a minimum of RM200 in two receipts centre-wide within the same day to receive two RM5 e-vouchers.

2. Fancy a specially designed cutlery holder set? Flash your Tack membership ID to get it for free!

Ooh, it looks so shiny. :D It's only available on 17 and 18 December though, so be sure to make your way to the i-Counter on Level G to redeem the cutlery set for yourself, or perhaps as a Christmas gift for your loved one.

3. Riding on the football wave, IPC's football challenge called "Dare to Goal" is open to all Tack Club and Små Club members aged 6 to 12 years old

Held on 17 and 18 December, your kids can put their skills to the test at the balance, accuracy, and agility stations, and they could win IPC Goodie Bags, a cutlery holder set, and up to 400 Tack Points.

Come on, partake in all the Christmas excitement by bringing your friends and family over to IPC Shopping Centre for a whimsical celebration!
