One of the top brands you can look forward to seeing on MyMall is KIRANA, a flagship retail store that promotes and sells carefully curated artisanal products, and culturally inspired works

Be it fashion, art, accessories, homeware, games, food and beverage, local interest pieces, or a variety of Malaysian-inspired products, KIRANA has got you covered.

The items, made by local craftsmen, traders, and artisans, represent the 13 states in Malaysia, as well as the heritage and culture of the country.

The tourism-oriented specialty retail store promotes small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), all while showcasing Malaysia to the rest of the world. The store's aim is to empower local entrepreneurs and to provide an avenue in retail and industrial trade, as well as to nurture and display the people behind the work.

In case you didn't know, MyMall was created by the Ministry of Entrepreneur and Cooperatives Development (MECD) to help local entrepreneurs open and expand their businesses

As many entrepreneurs were affected by the pandemic, MECD established MyMall to local entrepreneurs to set up their online businesses for free, and many have thrived thanks to it. Today, in addition to baju Raya, you can find over 803 other products, including ingredients for cooking and baking Raya dishes, kuih Raya, and various retail products.

Over 1,000 Malaysian entrepreneurs are participating in the 'Mari Beli Lokal - Ramadan & Raya' campaign, including famous local entrepreneurs such as Lima Waktu, 7zikr, KEKASIH by The Melvins, Aspirasi Jelita Ainina Ahmad B, Girl’s Republik, SamTilla, Starvendors, and Boenda.

What's also exciting is that throughout the campaign, you'll stand to win exclusive prizes!

For starters, there's a 'Like, Tag, and Win' social media contest you can participate in, where RM50 MyMall vouchers are up for grabs!

Once you've liked and followed MyMall's Facebook and Instagram pages, comment 'Saya nak baucar MyMall' on their IG or FB post, and share the poster on your social media account. Don't forget to tag MyMall too.

That's not all though! From 8 to 21 April, you could win a MyMall voucher worth RM150. :O All you have to do is purchase any product from MyMall, like and follow MyMall's social media accounts on Facebook and Instagram, then scan the QR code below to fill your information, and attach a photo of your receipt.

YB Datuk Ewon Benedick, the minister of MECD, said the launch of the 'Mari Beli Lokal - Ramadan & Raya' campaign aims to attract public support for local products made by Malaysian entrepreneurs

The campaign aims to support the products and services of local micro, small and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs), as well as indirectly contribute towards the digitisation process of MSMEs in Malaysia.

Aside from providing a free e-commerce platform, MyMall also offers entrepreneurs access to capacity building, business financing, and marketing. MECD is committed to helping with the development of entrepreneurs through various impactful initiatives. This coincides with the 'Malaysia Madani' concept, consisting of sustainability, care and compassion, respect, innovation, prosperity, and trust.

If you're a local entrepreneur looking to expand your business, you can join MyMall by registering your business on their website or sending an email to [email protected].
