Led under the creative direction of Justin Yap and Soong Yam, 3thelabel started as a collaborative brand among three designers with distinct design aesthetics, united as one.

The brand specialises in soft silhouettes that are simple but still contemporary, offering baju kurungs, kebaya, dresses, and more.

3thelabel currently has a pop-up booth at Publika, where it will be available until 20 April.

3. Bahari Asyek

You'll be able to dress up in airy kebayas and baju kurungs with Bahari Asyek. From Pesona Warisan to Koleksi Runway, the brand has clothes that come in all sorts of colours and elegant designs.

Perfect for sprucing up your Raya wardrobe, Koleksi Runway features classic designs with similarly evocative names such as Baju Kebaya Cik Siti Wan Kembang (Brocade) and Baju Kebaya Riau (Brocade). 

There are also options for men, like Baju Melayu Jum'At, available in a variety of colours.

4. LILIT.

This homegrown, women-led brand offers you a chance to shop for modest fashion in muted, chic styles. Functional, comfortable, and versatile, you can shop for a variety of styling options for any occasion at LILIT., from activewear to hijabs, and more.

The late Haji Omar bin Ali, who was once an apprentice for a Japanese lady who specialises in creating women's ballroom gowns for the wives of British expatriates, established the eponymous brand way back in 1935.

The first shop opened within the Masjid India enclave, where he produced and retailed traditional Malay attire, with a specialisation on baju Melayu. This year, you'll be able to get the same expert tailoring as well as enduring styles.

If you're looking to coordinate your outfit with the entire family, then check out Omar Ali's Raya 2023 Sedondon Collections. Made with soft cotton fabric, there are up to 16 colour options that adults and children can choose from in the Classic Cotton range, while the Mekar range offers another set of timeless outfits.
