What makes a beautiful album of pre-wedding photos? A dress or a photographer's skill?

Malaysian photographer Keow Wee Loong believes in the latter, and he took it a step further to prove his point

Recently, Keow met an "experienced photographer" at a wedding fair in Mid Valley Megamall where the latter claimed that one can't have good pre-wedding photos without a designer dress which costs between RM4,000 to RM15,000.

After the conversation, Keow took it as a challenge to prove that a pre-wedding photoshoot is only as good as the photographer, not the wedding dress itself.

Determined to prove his point, Keow and his wife made a trip to Berjaya Times Square and purchased two dresses for RM80

Later that night, they set off for Cameron Highlands at 12am so they could arrive in time to catch the sunrise

They wrapped up the photoshoot around 1pm and headed back to KL thereafter.

By 9pm on the same day, Keow had edited and uploaded the photos onto Facebook… and the results were absolutely BREATHTAKING.

Keow maintains that people should hire good photographers instead of spending too much money on a designer dress, as you don’t need a “fancy dress or expensive camera” to create a good photo

Now that’s some next level determination. Hats off to you, Keow Wee Loong.
