These Cafes' Mind-Blowing New Drinks Are A Must-Try If You're Obsessed With Milo
Milo cold brew now exists!
Every hardcore fan knows there's an unspoken code to making the perfect cup of Milo. For one thing, your tablespoon almost always looks like this:
You've probably had Milo every way possible - kaw, O, Dinosaur, Godzilla. Just name it, you've tried it!
You even know the more obscure ones!
Well, you've probably never had Milo in these ways! Inspired by Malaysia Day, these awesome cafes in the Klang Valley are serving up some pretty cool reinventions of our favourite childhood drink.
Each cafe is serving up 3 new school twists on this old school drink, and they're all interesting in their own way!
Combining the flavours of Milo with other classic desserts and drinks, these were some of the most unique ones we've tried:
1. Milo cold brew & sago gula melaka
Location: WhupWhup, Subang Jaya
Our favourite childhood drink is all grown up! Named Milo Sejiwa, this chic concoction combines Milo with sago gula melaka-inspired flavours.
Interestingly, the Milo is steeped overnight to really bring out its chocolate-y taste, and it's topped with a whipped coconut foam and subtly sweetened with some gula melaka and toasted coconut flakes.
The drink ends on a sweet note with some delectable pandan sago at the bottom of the drink.

2. Milo & peanut butter strawberry milkshake
Location: Frisky Goat, TTDI
This TTDI cafe is serving up three eclectic milkshakes, one of which is this PB Strawberry & Milo Milkshake. The milkshake - a brave combination of Milo, peanut butter and strawberry sauce - is topped with Chantilly cream and slices of fresh strawberries.
As bizarre as it sounds, the flavours actually complement each other well and a sip gives you a decadent blend of nuttiness from the peanut butter, richness from the Milo and a hint of tartness from the strawberries.

3. Milo & creme brulee
Location: Coffee Stain, Publika
The fine French dessert is reinterpreted as a classy Milo drink here at Coffee Stain! The warm and rich cuppa enhances the flavours of Milo with brown sugar.
The delicate brown sugar crust is a joy to crack into, and the sprinkling of Milo cereal atop the foam makes for a wholesome Milo-riffic treat!
