Watsons Malaysia has introduced its first ever stand-alone store with a drive-thru
A TikTok user @ftn.khuzaifah recently took to the app to show off the store.
It's situated in Taman Daya, Johor Bahru and offers a more convenient and fast shopping experience for customers
However, instead of ordering at the counter as customers would expect, the drive-thru functions more as a pick-up spot.
Customers still have to make their purchases ahead of time using the Watsons Mobile App, and choose the 'Click & Collect Express' service.
They then have to collect their items within four hours using the drive-thru counter.
Besides buying health care and beauty products, the 4,800sqft stand-alone store also features an in-store ZUS Coffee for customers to grab a coffee to go
Meanwhile, in the name of sustainability, there's also a recycling bin for customers to conveniently drop off their recyclable waste at the back of the store.
Many were supportive of the concept store, with the TikTok video amassing over 2.4 million views at the time of writing
TikTok users were tagging their friends to check out the store. One said, "[This is] heaven maybe, I don't know."
Another said, "This suits me because I always enter Watsons to buy only one or two things and have to line up for a long time."
Another netizen said, "Hope they can open this throughout Malaysia."
