Ninja Van Turns 8! Its Newly Automated Hub Can Now Process Up To 650,000 Parcels A Day
The company continues to innovate to provide hassle-free deliveries for shippers and shoppers.
Ninja Van Malaysia is turning eight this year!
Established in March of 2015, the tech-enabled express logistics company started with an aim to provide fast and hassle-free deliveries for both shippers and shoppers.
In June 2017, it grew to introduce cross-border services, and successfully delivered its millionth parcel in December that same year.Just 14 months later, it reached the milestone of delivering 10 million parcels! Ninja Van Malaysia was even conferred with the Best Customer Experience Award in 2010.
To mark its eighth anniversary, Ninja Van Malaysia is carrying the momentum even further and advancing automation, as well as other operational improvements
Did you know the heaviest item Ninja Van Malaysia ever delivered weighed a whopping 180kg, while the weirdest thing is said to be a toilet bowl? And its most frequently delivered items? Skincare and healthcare products!
Having served close to 15 million parcel recipients in the last 12 months alone, the next fun fact Ninja Van Malaysia can dish out belongs to its biggest ever warehouse located in Shah Alam, which features a newly added integrated automation system.
This means the parcel sorting process can now weigh, measure, and scan up to 30,000 parcels per hour (up to 650,000 a day!). It can also provide accurate real-time parcel data, which increases sorting and parcel tracking efficiency.
As a result, its daily parcel processing capability is projected to increase by almost 35%
On top of that, Ninja Van Malaysia also provides 100% coverage nationwide and almost 5,700 Pick Up & Drop Off (PUDO) points to bring both shippers and shoppers a quicker and more seamless delivery experience.
"Working with Ninja Van Malaysia really changed the way we connected with our customers. With their next day delivery services, they've helped us bring healthy snacks to Malaysians that are freshly made," said co-founder and CEO of Signature Market Edwin Wang.
"Without Ninja Van, the landscape of e-commerce wouldn't be viable in Malaysia. Happy birthday, Ninja Van Malaysia! We're excited to see where the future takes us," added Wang.
Throughout the years, Ninja Van Malaysia has also introduced various products and services to help shippers grow their businesses
One of its latest products is the Ninja Biz app. Through the newly-launched app, shippers can seamlessly access their accounts and deliveries on the go. Of course, all of Ninja Van Malaysia's innovations are complemented by personnel who are ready to assist.
According to senior executive logistics of Uniqlo Malaysia Raja Nurul Izah, "Ninja Van Malaysia has been supporting us for the past two and a half years [before] our migration to the new warehouse.
"They are always there to support us to ensure that we are also able to meet our customers' expectations. We have a good relationship with our key account managers, Farra and Fatin, and we look forward to more collaborations in the future."
To further enhance the delivery experience for shippers (and shoppers), the company has unveiled its first-ever guide, called Live Selling in Southeast Asia (SEA)
The guide introduces live selling as one of the up-and-coming SEA e-commerce trends, and shares insights collected from over 1,000 of Ninja Van's e-commerce sellers across Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, the Philippines, Thailand, and Vietnam.
All in all, Ninja Van Malaysia wants to thank shippers and shoppers, like yourself, across the country for growing with the company over the past eight years
In line with its eighth anniversary campaign, Ninja Van Malaysia Turns 8: Celebr8ing Innov8ion, Ninja Van strives to continue providing a seamless and hassle-free delivery experience for all, an aim that it has held on to since day one.
