The GMS Buddyz is defined by Perodua as a “young, stylish, high-tech and hassle-free” sedan, which ideally identifies with a younger audience.

Perodua would like to build on the close relationship between the user and his or her car, which can be described as an on-going friendship. That’s how we decided on the name Buddyz – a buddy to generations Y and Z.

This car’s interior is as big as a Myvi’s. Perodua has achieved amazing results in terms of interior space.

The interior of the Buddyz sports a clean and modern look, with a two-layered digital instrument panel vaguely reminiscent of the Honda Civic.

It did not look like a car that was designed as a sedan from ground up – it ended up looking more like a Myvi notchback, similiar to how Maruti Suzuki created a Suzuki Swift Dzire sedan out of a Suzuki Swift. And then there was the Nissan Latio sedan as well, and who can forget the second-generation Honda City.

Second Malaysian carmaker Perodua has unveiled its concept car model called Buddyz, which could be the company's first sedan car, as well as one of the ugliest car we have seen in quite a number of years.
