Benjamin Yong and Elizabeth Lee got married over the weekend in style, with an extravagant wedding banquet and carnival-themed reception.

Benjamin Yong, founder and CEO of The BIG Group, and Elizabeth Lee, one half of the Bowerhaus Jewellery sister duo hosted a lavish carnival-themed ceremony in Chin Woo Stadium, KL on 19 October to celebrate their union
Aptly named as Benjamin and Elizabeth's Wedding Carnival, the ceremony-cum-reception had a spinning carousel as its centerpiece, a massive stage housing a 25-piece swing band, carnival-themed wedding cakes, and a variety of food and goodies

Aside from the assorted goodies on the buffet tables, there was also 'toro' flown in fresh from Japan
Guests were also treated to a plethora of entertainment from aerial dancers, a ballerina in a ball, performances from Adibah Noor and Amanda Amani, and even a routine from the national synchronised swimming team!
When do we slot the aerial dancers in? After the desserts but before the synchronized swimming of course. #TheBEwedding

The reception was attended by a number of high-profile guests, including celebrities such as Marion Caunter, Sarah Lian and Magie Abang Saufi
The happy couple also held a traditional Chinese wedding banquet and tea ceremony at The Ritz-Carlton, KL on 18 October
