Reactions Of Malaysians The Day The Giant Pandas Arrived

Malaysians were extremely excited about two giant pandas - Fu Wa and Feng Yi - that arrived at KLIA via a special MAS Kargo at 8am this morning, 21 May 2014

So much so that 'Welcome To Malaysia' and 'Zoo Negara' were trending on Twitter

Malaysia Kini tweeted a photo of school children waving at a truck with a sign that reads, 'Selamat Datang Fu Wa & Feng Yi'

An Astro Awani journalist tweeted along with a photo, "Kids excited to see the pandas at Zoo Negara"

Zoo Negara workers were also excited for the arrival of the giant pandas

There were some who were less than excited about the furry animals

And others who were concerned about the current state of Zoo Negara, the safety of the giant pandas and the use of public funds

A Twitter user posted this photo with the caption, "Keadaan panda yang sedang berehat di zoo negara" (the condition of pandas resting in Zoo Negara)

While another wanted to see the giant pandas so badly that they shared a funny meme of a panda falling off a slide
