The first piece of advice the Fat Spoon Café sisters have to offer is to stock up your kitchen with these 11 must-have ingredients:
Chilli padi, fresh Asian herbs (coriander, mint, thai basil, lemongrass, kaffir lime leaves), shallots, tomatoes, goji berries, eggs, Kewpie mayo, bread, Nissin noodles, miso paste, and gula melaka.

Add some Asian greens (coriander, mint leaves, Thai basil) and caramelised shallots into your salad for that extra flavour
Add some julienned lemongrass, coriander, tomato, shallots, goji berries, chilli padi and miso paste into beaten egg for the perfect omelette
Turn your tomato salsa into an Asian salsa with julienned kaffir lime leaves, chopped coriander, chopped mint leaves and a squeeze of lime juice
