Tealive’s entry into the Vietnamese market is marked by the opening of two outlets at the Vincom Centre in the bustling District 1, near Ho Chi Minh City’s popular Ben Thanh Market.

Vietnam is Tealive's first international destination. The team is aiming to end the year with five outlets in Ho Chi Minh and then 20 next year.

The locations in the pipeline are in Districts 5, 7 and 10.

“The Vietnamese people love to eat and drink. Call it cultural or otherwise, eating and drinking, whether it is at the makeshift cafes on the city’s sidewalks, at the pubs and bistros or restaurants, are viewed as opportunities for social interaction. It is a lifestyle," says Tealive's founder, Bryan Loo.

To mark its launch in Vietnam, Tealive introduced six special concoctions that have refreshing alcoholic twists of gin, rum, and liqueur.

"We're rushing to close at five stores in Vietnam by year-end, and then prep for Melbourne's expansion next!" Bryan Loo told SAYS in a text interview.

Although he couldn't reveal too much to us about the Australian expansion apart from its January launch, Loo promises it will be pretty exciting. "It's going to be massive there."

We hope everything goes as planned, fingers crossed!
