Joey Pang: Joey grew up wanting to be an artist. Born in Yunnan, China, Joey's family expected her to start a family of her own and settle down like her peers.
Joey, however, had different expectations of herself.
Deeply moved by the possibilities that could emerge with the interaction of the human body and art, the permanency of tattoos caught her attention. Filled with the belief that life is about following the fire inside us, Joey set out to become a tattoo artist. Today, Joey has completely redefined the way the human body can be used as a canvas to express a personality.
Charlie Ruedpokanon: Raised in America, Charlie followed the advice of his hardworking Thai parents and lived a conventional life. However, since an early age, he was fascinated with action movies.
Charlie began his life in the footsteps of his parents and played it safe by getting himself a degree in business management. But he always felt trapped. Determined and filled with self-belief, Charlie refused to just walk down the street like others. He decided he would no longer live a life he hasn't dreamt of - he began to train himself to become a stuntman. Charlie has now performed in various Southeast Asian and Hollywood productions, and is part of one of Asia's top stunt troupes.
Anthony Chen: Anthony's middle class family expected him to follow the predictable path to career and financial success. But that wasn't Anthony's dream. He always wanted to become a filmmaker.
From a very young age, Anthony was interested in films. He followed his dream and in 2013 he won the prestigious Cannes Camera D'Or for his debut film 'Ilo Ilo'. He became the first director from Singapore to be awarded at the Cannes Film Festival. Anthony is now an inspiration to others to pursue their creative dreams and find the courage to convert them into a reality just like his.
