Would You Stay In Bangkok's Latest 'Prison' Hotel?
You even get uniforms and a mugshot.
All of Sook Station's guests will be given a black-and-white striped uniform just like the ones you see in prison
When you first check-in to the hotel, you'll be assigned a number and asked to change into your uniform.
Then, you'll stand with your number while they take your mugshot.
And instead of a comfy hotel room, you'll be staying in a cell
Each inmate will be assigned to a cell, that they can get in and out of using their assigned numbers.
Each cell is split by iron bars and black-and-white striped curtains.
However, you can't just go in and out as you want
The hotel enforces a curfew. So cells have to be locked and lights have to go out whenever they say so.
You'll even have to share a communal bathroom
Complete with eerie dim lighting, just in case you weren't already creeped out.
But Sook Station does have some non-prison amenities
They have a cafe which serves complimentary breakfast each morning, a lounge and even a working space for guests who need to get business done while traveling.
And yes, there’s free Wi-Fi too!
If this sounds like the place for you, you better get to booking a room right now
The hotel is located at 45-49 Soi Sukhumvit 101/2, 10260 Bangkok, Thailand.
Rooms start at USD54 (RM232) a night.
