TikTok Shop Lets You Earn More Income By Creating Content Or Sharing Links! Here's How

The content you create can be a short video or a livestream, just remember to add the product to your video so your audience members can buy it directly.

As for how much you can earn, the commission you get for every purchase will be determined by the product seller or owner. This means that before you start creating your content, you'll immediately be able to determine what your commission rates will be for each sale.

To become a TikTok Shop Affiliate Creator, just follow these steps:

STEP 1: Ensure that you are at least 18 years old and that your TikTok profile has at least 1,000 followers.
STEP 2: On your TikTok profile page, select "Creator Tools"
STEP 3: Select "TikTok Shop for Creator" and select "Apply"

1. From your TikTok profile page, tap on the basket logo to access your product showcase, then tap on "TikTok Shop" to enter the Creator Centre

2. In the TikTok Shop Creator Centre, scroll down until you see the TikTok Shop toolkit. Here, you'll select the "Product Marketplace" button

3. Inside the marketplace, you can scroll through various products to find the ones that interest you

To become a better content creator, TikTok Shop has compiled several tips and tricks from established creators that you can follow right away!

1. How to select products products to promote:

Pinn Yang recommends that new sellers should choose products that they're passionate about, which will allow them to build an organic following.

"When selecting products, start by reading product reviews to understand what buyers think and what potential concerns may exist. Next, observe other live streamers to see which products are performing well.

"Lastly, consider working with an MCN like Pixie, where you'll find support on creative ideas and production. Our experience with a range of products and relationships with brands can make it easier to select options that work well for your audience," he said.

He also added that there are other factors to consider when choosing a product, such as price, quality, and how easy or difficult it is to sell.

"The difficulty of selling can also depend on how well you can show the product's quality in a video. For example, visually impactful items like stain vacuum cleaners, which show a clear before-and-after effect, are often easier to sell," he said.


2. How to create content that can drive high sales conversions:

Creator almiyaz suggested that being a user of the product you're promoting can go a long way in driving interest from viewers.

"The best and most effective way is to show ourselves using the product and highlight its benefits when we use it. If the product is on promotion, be sure to mention it with an extra excited and enthusiastic tone.

"Create a sense of urgency in ordering. Mention when the promotion starts and ends. At the end of the video, don’t forget to add a call-to-action (CTA) so viewers know where to buy it," she said.

3. How to achieve high sales conversions during TikTok LIVE streams:

"You should forecast how much you'll need to achieve and how much you'll need to sell per hour. So assessing your products and determining the duration of each livestream is very important," she said.

Here’s how it works:

STEP 2: On the product’s details page, tap on the Share button (arrow icon) beside the shopping cart.
STEP 3: Once a card is generated, you’ll get a link that you can share and earn commission from.
