[VIDEO] This IKEA Mirror On The Wall Will Tell You How Fabulous You Look Today
A mirror that pays you compliments? We could definitely use one here! IKEA Malaysia, hint!
As it happens, whenever we look in the mirror, we end up feeling miserable about how we look. But thanks to IKEA, that feeling, however, is about to change. Well, at least for Londoners.
IKEA has come up with a 'Motivational Mirror' for their store in Wembley, London. The mirror, equipped with motion sensors, tells shoppers how good they look by doling out tailored compliments.
How does it work?
The mirror uses Xbox Kinect motion sensor technology, which detects data about shoppers' facial and body features and then activates a corresponding compliment stored within the system.

Ikea’s carried out research and has found over two thirds (68%) of the population are self-critical of their appearance. A third of those questioned said their main concern was their body shape, and another third said their weight was their main concern. Rather unsurprisingly, a third of people said they feel worst on a Monday morning.
