PSA: The More You Scratch, The More You Itch. Here's How To Overcome It
Time to break your itch-scratch cycle!
What is your first instinct when you feel an itch?
If you're like most people, you'll start... scratching! ;P
The best way to break the itch-scratch cycle is to first determine the cause of your itch
Itchiness can be a common skin symptom associated with eczema, fungal skin infections, psoriasis and dermatitis, hives, chicken pox, insect bites, prickly heat, as well as hand, foot, and mouth disease.
For itchiness related to dry skin, it can be managed by the use of moisturisers. However, in cases where there is inflammation of the skin, pine tar has been shown to relieve the itchy symptoms and help break the itch-scratch cycle.
Introducing Pinetarsol, a range of gentle soap-free cleansers formulated with natural pine tar to help relieve itchiness
Pinetarsol gently cleanses without stripping your skin of its natural oils, and instead leaves your skin with a soothing feeling.
As a soap-free cleanser, Pinetarsol is also pH-balanced to help maintain the skin's natural layer of protection. Besides that, it is steroid-free and suitable for everyday use.
Depending on what type of cleanser you prefer, Pinetarsol comes in gel form or as a solution/bath oil. Either way, you can rest assured that Pinetarsol can reduce inflammation and itchiness, so your skin won't be as red and swollen.
Here's a look at all of Pinetarsol's products and how to use them:
