The Xtramile Run takes a unique twist with the traditional marathon! Three men will be running 100km to raise funds for the Dignity for Children Foundation, and are getting the public involved in different ways.

thesundaily.myThemed 'Run for Dignity', the XtraMile Run 2013 aims to raise awareness and interest amongst Malaysians to support the education initiatives of Dignity for Children Foundation. The XtraMile Run is the first-of-its-kind 100km charity run in Malaysia, which debuted in 2011.

"It all started with my passion for running long distance. I wanted to translate my passion into something tangible to make a difference and impact the community in need.
thesundaily.my"One thing led to another and in 2011, I found myself in the first ever 100km run to raise RM1,000 for every kilometre I ran," said Au-Yong, a brand manager at Athlete's Circle Malaysia.

We are thankful for all the corporations and individuals who have supported us thus far, including the XtraMile Run.

The trio aims to raise RM300,000 which will then be channeled to benefit 135 preschool children and 141 secondary school students under Dignity for Children Foundation.

Show your support for Alex, Daniel, and Kyle as they run the 100km by running alongside them relay-style. No, you don't have to run 100km to participate! The 100km run will be broken up into sections, and runners will have the option of signing up to run either a 10km or 20km distance.
xtramile.infoIn addition to running together with other XtraMilers, runners will be involved in raising pledges in aid of the run’s beneficiary, Dignity for Children. Each runner is required to pledge a minimum of RM600 towards the beneficiary, Dignity for Children.
