Calling all fitness enthusiasts and adventure seekers! :D

Internet provider Yes 5G is hosting The Wave, a community-driven run where you'll get to light up the streets of KL in bright neon suits.

Presented by Yes 5G, in collaboration with Brand New Waves Running Club & WE ARE KIX (a film experience company), The Wave consists of four immersive community runs, along with a variety of fun activities and mini challenges at each event.

More than just a fun run, The Wave is meant to showcase the power of Yes 5G coverage in Malaysia. In line with the telco's mission to provide accessible and affordable Internet connectivity to all Malaysians, The Wave signifies the arrival of Yes 5G coverage throughout the country.

The first two locations in Bukit Bintang and Putrajaya saw hundreds of runners from all walks of life illuminate cities with vibrant lights, music, and fun

Runners wore custom-made neon LED suits and wristbands as the run kicked off at night, lighting the city in Yes 5G's iconic magenta colour.

YTL Communications CEO, Wing K. Lee, said: "At Yes 5G, we always find ways to co-create meaningful experiences with our customers and the communities we serve. ‘The Wave’ is a fun and immersive way to encourage healthy lifestyles, while getting the message across that Yes 5G is in your area.

"All four routes have strong Yes 5G coverage where you can enjoy uncapped Yes 5G speed and data. As 5G coverage continues to expand throughout Malaysia, we hope to spread 'The Wave' of 5G in line with our mission to provide internet connectivity that is both accessible and affordable to all Malaysians."

Each location also featured full 5G coverage, with the first run at Lot 10, Bukit Bintang, showcasing an average Yes 5G speed of 870Mbps. The second run at the Palace of Justice, Putrajaya, saw Yes 5G speeds reach up to 900Mbps. All in all, this supports Yes 5G's promise of offering users faster downloads, lower latency gaming, and uninterrupted video calls.

But the good news is that Yes 5G is hosting more runs!

If you missed the first two runs, there are two more upcoming ones in Bukit Jalil (17 June) and Taman Tun Dr Ismail (1 July).

Best part? Both community runs are completely free*, woah!

Get ready to join The Wave and unleash your full potential, while having lots of fun and bonding with other like-minded runners. Whether you choose to run, jog, or walk the five kilometres, you can complete the race at your own pace, while enjoying a free T-shirt and complimentary LED gear.
