Inside Scoop Releases "Malaysia's First" Yee Sang Ice Cream

Yee Sang is a must-have during Chinese New Year — a colourful dish symbolising harmony, blessings, and prosperity
But this year, Inside Scoop is shaking things up with Malaysia's first-ever Ice Cream Yee Sang!
Instead of the usual raw fish and veggies, this unique dessert swaps in scoops of their signature ice cream paired with different toppings.
It's a cool, creamy twist on a beloved tradition, bringing fun and flavour to your festive celebrations.
For RM68, you can choose five of your favourite ice cream flavours to toss together with a mix of Bo Chui crackers, yam sticks, red velvet cake, peanut chunks, almond flakes, chocolate pearls, jelly, and a side of tangy passion fruit sauce
"From the start, we've always aimed to create products that resonate with Malaysians and showcase our love for fun and creativity," shared Edmund Tan, co-founder of Inside Scoop.
"Ice Cream Yee Sang is our way of bringing people together to celebrate in a way that's both nostalgic and exciting."

In addition to their signature Ice Cream Yee Sang, the dessert spot is also offering two special treats this Chinese New Year: the CNY Gold Bar Cake (RM163) and the Mandarin Orange Cake (RM143)
The CNY Gold Bar Cake features Genmaicha ice cream made with Niko Neko Genmaicha, coated in genmai mousse, and layered with grapefruit orange jam and matcha sponge on a hazelnut feuilletine base.
Adding to the excitement, eight lucky cakes come with a hidden treasure — a Poh Kong 24K gold bar (2g)!
Meanwhile, the Mandarin Orange Cake combines mandarin yoghurt swirl ice cream with jasmine orange mousse, layered with pineapple jam on an almond feuilletine base.
Both desserts are perfect for sharing or gifting at reunion gatherings!
