Air fryers are all the rage these days, and it isn't difficult to see why. They're easy to use and can make quick meals without too much hassle.
For a home appliance that makes so many different meals, you can find air fryers in Malaysia for just under RM200.
If you're considering getting an air fryer or already own one, here's a list of things you can make and how:
1. Chocolate chip cookies
2. French fries
- Frozen French fries
- Korean beef stock powder
HOW TO MAKE
1. Grab a bag of frozen French fries from any supermarket (I find that Simplot's shoestring fries are some of the best ones out there).
2. Toss a handful into an air fryer, sprinkle with salt and Korean beef stock powder. Optionally, you can also drizzle a bit of vegetable oil or coat them with butter.
3. Cook for around 10 to 15 minutes at 180°C while flipping over once in awhile.
3. Pull-apart bread rolls
4. Fried rice
5. Roast mushrooms
6. Caramelised bananas
8. Bread pudding
If you have a date night coming up or just any special occasion and don't wanna head out to a restaurant, you can air fry steaks! It doesn't leave your kitchen in smoke or require you to wash any pans.
You can get the recipe here. Also, check out this store, with several outlets in Klang Valley, selling halal beef short ribs and ribeye steaks.
