Starbucks Jaya One Serves 'Puppuccinos' So Your Doggo Can Go Gai Gai With You
Nyum nyum.
Good news, dog owners!
Starbucks Malaysia is finally offering 'Puppuccinos' for your pet dogs at its Jaya One outlet.
In a recent video, a pet owner shared how she was able to get a 'Puppuccino' for her corgi named Sushi.
If you're unfamiliar with Puppuccinos, they're a Starbucks 'drink' made specifically for dogs – no caffeine like coffee or tea but just straight-up whipped cream in a small cup.
It costs RM7 a cup. Although it's sugar-free, Sushi's owner warns that it still tastes quite sweet and you should only treat your dog to it once in a blue moon.
Also, be sure that your dog can take it before getting it, as some dogs are lactose intolerant and eating it in excess may lead to bloating and diarrhoea.
SAYS did a quick check and a Starbucks spokesperson confirmed that the 'Puppuccino' is not an official Starbucks menu item in Malaysia. However, its baristas are always on hand to provide their recommendation and customisation options for customers as needed.
Jaya One has four floors that are considered pet-friendly zones, including several restaurants that have dedicated seating areas for owners and their furry buddies
Other than Starbucks, some of the other pet-friendly spots include Apple Samgyupsal, Three Stooges, Tommy Thongchai, Jin Xiu Long Men, Park-In, Ippudo, Godubab Cafe, Ah Ma Kitchen, Kechara Oasis Vegetarian Restaurant, and Sangkaya.
There's also a pet toilet located on level P1 and stickers on the floors to indicate which zones you can walk with your pets.
