Porridge is the ultimate comfort food.

Whether or not you're feeling under the weather, this place in KL will make your mouth water and your tummy rumble.

Jim Food is probably every bubur lover's dream, offering loads of toppings to pair with your porridge.

Some of them include telur masin (salted egg), sambal paru (beef lungs with chilli), ikan masin lobak manis (salted fish with preserved radish), ikan bilis (anchovies), tempeh goreng (fried tempeh), bawang goreng (fried onions), crispy fried shrimp, and lala lobak manis (clams with preserved radish).

It serves porridge with set toppings, or you can customise your own, with each topping costing roughly RM1.50 per scoop

There's plain, minced chicken, or minced beef porridge to start as a base.

Add the toppings of your choice and finish it off with some pepper, soy sauce, and sesame oil.

The restaurant also recently added fried chicken skin to its menu for just RM2. You can enjoy this with your porridge or order their combo, which includes fried tempeh, salted egg, fried bitter gourd, and fried chicken skin for RM11.
