If you're heading to Cameron Highlands, you'll want to add this humble eatery to your itinerary

Located in a food court in Tanah Rata is a small, unassuming stall run by a couple in their 70s, known for serving some of the tastiest crêpes you can find in the area.

Many have been flocking to Yong Teng Cafe in the past two decades to have a dose of their crispy crêpes topped with fresh fruits like peaches, strawberries, bananas, apples, and/or a scoop of ice cream. Optionally, customers can enjoy them plain too.

More than just pancakes, they also serve comforting dishes including nasi lemak, noodles, chicken chop, chee cheong fun, among others

The owners, referred to as Madam Teng, and her husband, See Poh, have speech and hearing difficulties, and are some of the most wholesome people around

To order, you'll need to scribble down what you want on a piece of paper that will be provided to you. The aunty and uncle will communicate with you through hand gestures, but if you know sign language, then even better!

They're both really cheerful and hardworking, but do be patient and kind as it's just two of them running the stall all day.

According to Free Malaysia Today, the elderly couple may retire this year after having worked hard on their feet for years.
