Earlier on 15 October, two female students risked their lives by jumping out off a moving taxi after being robbed at gunpoint by the driver. The incident happened in Bukit Bintang.
The driver took out a gun and demanded their valuables as soon as both the students got into the taxi, according to The Star
After robbing them, the driver then sped off to an undisclosed destination, ignoring their pleas. Afraid of being abducted, both of them jumped out off the moving taxi.
The victims have lodged a police report over the incident the Tun HS Lee police station.
