26-Year-Old Man Killed On The Spot In Tragic Penang Bridge Accident

A man was killed in a recent accident that took place on the Penang Bridge
According to The Star, the tragic crash occurred around 4.45am on Friday, 6 March.
Police have identified the victim as 26-year-old Lim Yen Tat.
He was driving from the island towards Perai when he lost control of his Volkswagen Beetle
The car crashed into the barrier of the bridge and it was found overturned.
According to the Penang Kini Facebook page, the driver left a long skid mark on the road which indicates that he was possibly speeding.
The impact of the crash was so strong that some parts of the vehicle reportedly fell off the bridge and into the water.
Lim was pronounced dead at 6am after firemen extricated his body from the damaged vehicle
Berita Harian reported that the body has been sent to the hospital for a post-mortem.
Police are currently investigating the case.
