Yesterday, 9 May, Pakatan Harapan won Malaysia's 14th General Election (GE14) with a simple majority of 113 out of 222 seats
The Pakatan Harapan coalition's victory is a historic one as it means that Barisan Nasional (BN) loses it's uninterrupted grip on power in over six decades.
Another first for Malaysia is the return of an ex-Prime Minister, as Pakatan Harapan's chairman Mahathir Mohamad will take on the role again, 15 years after stepping down.
Malaysians woke up on the morning of 10 May to a brand new government, and to local publications reporting the same piece of news. Here are some of the front page covers of local newspapers today:
