A 24-Year-Old Malaysian Woman Just Won More Than RM4 Million From 4D Lottery
She was one of two winners to secure a large share in the Jackpot 2 prize of RM10,845,376.
The Magnum 4D Jackpot game has turned two Malaysians into overnight millionaires
China Press reported yesterday that two individuals ended up becoming instant millionaires, sharing the Jackpot 2 prize of RM10,845,376 from the 11 October draw.
They walked away with RM4,497,266 each. The remaining RM1,850,844 was split equally and awarded to the remaining 24 lucky participants.
The first winner was a 24-year-old woman from Sungai Buloh
In an interview with the Chinese daily, she said she would be sharing the prize money with her family and invest in property.
"I’m going to share the joy and prize money with my family members. I’m also going to invest the prize money in property, and spend partially for my brother’s education fund and of course, not forgetting to do some charity too," the unnamed woman said.
The other winner was a businessman from Puchong in his mid-50s
The man was ecstatic about the win since he only paid RM20 to buy the numbers.
"I can't believe I managed to strike gold with only RM20," he said.
According to FMT, the winning numbers came to him in a dream.
Two of them were fortunate to buy two numbers from the top three prizes in a single draw
The numbers lottery operator said according to the rules of its Jackpot game, whenever the Jackpot 1 prize money exceeds RM30 million and it is not won, the amount exceeding RM20 million will be added to the Jackpot 2 prize.
“The last time this occurred was back in December 2015,” a spokesman for Magnum said.
